PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hardened cement material having high flexural strength and water-resistance and keeping the flexural strength even in a highly humid environment by forming a mixture of a hydraulic cement, a water-soluble polymer, an epoxy resin and water to a prescribed shape, curing the formed article in wet state and further curing in a state immersed in warm water. SOLUTION: The hydraulic cement is e.g. various Portland cements such as ordinary, white, early strength or ultra-high early strength cement, blast furnace cement, silica cement, fly ash cement, alumina cement or colloid cement, preferably ordinary Portland cement. The water-soluble polymer is a polymer or copolymer of anionic, nonionic and cationic water-soluble monomers, a copolymer of a water-soluble monomer and a water-insoluble monomer, etc. The amount of the water-soluble polymer is 0.5-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the hydraulic cement. The epoxy resin is a lowmolecular epoxy compound, its oligomer or polymer and is preferably a bisphenol A-type epoxy resin. |
