PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compsn. which is excellent in moldability and gives a molded article excellent in flame retardance, hinging properties, weldability, heat resistance, and mechanical properties by compounding a polyamide resin comprising specified amts. of a polyamide 6 resin and a copolyamide 6/66 resin with specified amts. of a triazine-based flame retardant and a carboxamide wax. SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. polyamide resin comprising 95-50 wt.% polyamide 6 resin pref. having a relative viscosity of 2.0-4.5 and 5-50 wt.% copolyamide 6/66 resin pref. contg. 98-10 wt.% repeating units derived fromε-caprolactam and/or having a relative viscosity of 2.2-3.5 is compounded with 2-20 pts.wt. triazine-based flame retardant (e.g. melamine cyanurate) and 0.005-1 pt.wt. carboxamide wax pref. obtd. by reacting a mixture of a higher aliph. monocarboxylic acid (e.g. stearic acid) and a polybasic acid (e.g. sebacic acid) with a diamine. |
