<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce volume by providing a means for crushing waste plastic at least to small pieces by compression molding the plastic, dipping it in a liquid nitrogen bath and then refrigerating it, and a means for supplying liquid nitrogen to the bath. SOLUTION: Roughly crushed various type waste plastics are introduced by each predetermined amount, agitated and heated in a melting furnace 2, transferred into a forming press 3, and compression shaped in a block-like state. The plastic is transferred into a liquid nitrogen bath 4 by a conveyor 5, and refrigerated while transferring it by dipping it in liquid nitrogen. A crushing means 6 has a coarse crusher 7 and a fine crusher 8, lifts cooled block-like waste plastic (a) and first sends it to the crusher 7. Then, it sends the plastic to the crusher 8 to crush it to small pieces. And, a structure for circulating the nitrogen between a liquid nitrogen storage bath 17, the bath 4 and a liquid nitrogen manufacturing unit 16 by a circulating pump is provided to always store the liquid nitrogen of a predetermined amount at predetermined temperature in the bath 4.</p> |
