摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the quantity of light of a light emitting dot in which distribution of the quantity of light of a plurality of light emitting dots in a line light source can be measured. SOLUTION: The light emitted from one light emitting dot has the fluctuation of brightness and leaks over one dot region to be exposed to the regions to be exposed by adjacent light emitting dots thus causing interference. Consequently, the exposing amount of each dot region is affected by three dots, i.e., the objective dot and the adjacent left and right dots. The quantity of light can not thereby be corrected completely through measurement of the quantity of light using a photomultiplier. Distribution of the quantity of light is measured for the line light source of an optical printer using an image sensor in order to measure the leakage of light emitted from a light emitting dot 1 in region (j) to the left and right regions to be exposed by light emitting dots adjacent thereto in the subscanning direction.</p>
