PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposer capable of recognizing that a motor becomes an overload state and is stopped by a protecting device by a user without complicating its structure. SOLUTION: This disposer has a heater 23a for detecting the overload state of the motor 19 and a bimetal 23b for cutting off the supply of driving current to the motor 19 when the overload state of the motor 19 is detected. And the disposer is provided with an alarm circuit 29 for turning a neon lamp 25 on to display that the supply of the driving current is in cut-off state only when voltage equal to or above a prescribed value is impressed and the alarm circuit 29 is connected to the bimetal 23b in parallel so that the driving current is supplied to the motor 19 side through the bimetal 23b in normal state and the voltage equal to or above the prescribed value is impressed to the alarm circuit 29 at the time of power supply cut-off state by the bimetal 23b. |
