PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the replacement of a filtering element, and simplify a parts architecture for cost reduction by forming a cover for opening and closing an opening part for inserting and taking out the filtering element at the wall part of an air cleaner case, and protruding an elastic body for pressurizing and energizing the filtering element at its inner surface. SOLUTION: This air cleaner 1 is formed so that a filtering element 8 stored in the inside of an air cleaner case 2 may divide the inside of the air cleaner case 2 into an atmosphere chamber 9 and an clean air chamber 10. An opening part 12 which is formed at the upper wall of a lower case 4 above the filtering element 8 and capable of inserting the filtering element 8 is closed by a plate- shaped cover 13. The filtering element 8 is seated stably on a seat 11 by the pressurizing and energizing action of elastic body 19, 21. The cover 13 receives its reaction, so that the fitting condition of a claw piece 16 with an end edge part 14 is maintained to close the opening part 12. The action of a lever with a locking part serving as its fulcrum is satisfied, thus it is possible to maintain the closing condition of the cover 13 against the opening part 12 more stably. |
