PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize the bucket elevator driving device of a continuous unloader which unloads cargo from a hold. SOLUTION: This unloader has a bucket elevator which scrapes and unloads cargo in a hold by driving, using drive sprockets 23A, 23B, chains 25A, 25B to which a bucket 26 is attached. In this case, two induction motors 32AF-32BR are individually connected to the drive sprockets 23A, 23B via reduction gears 27A, 27B. The motors are subjected to vector control by individual motor drive circuit 34A, 34B, and are each subjected to synchronous control at startup on the basis of desired torque current values calculated by a desired value computing circuit included in the motor drive circuit 34A. After startup, the induction motors are subjected to independent vector control by the motor drive circuits 34A, 34B. |
