An arrangement for sealing a packing opening which includes a frame 1 enclosing the opening and fixed on the packing, in which a slide 2 is mounted to enable it to move between an opening-covering position and a position exposing the opening, whereby the frame is fitted with two locking devices 4, 5 situated apart from each other, and the slide is fitted with two locking devices 7, 8 placed at the same distance apart. In this way, the locking devices on the frame and on the slide respectively mesh with each other when the slide covers the opening, and must be activated essentially simultaneously to enable the slide to move to its position where the opening is uncovered.
