Self-adhesive strip for roofs and flat roofs for partially or fully bonding to surface

A self-adhesive sealing strip (10), especially for roofs and flat roofs, comprises a strip of sealing material (12), e.g. bitumen, with a self-adhesive coating (18) totally covering one or both outer faces (14,16) and a first film (20) fully covering the one outer face (14). A second film (22) between the first film (20) and the outer surface (14) partially covers the latter and is applied to the outside of the coating (18). Either the first film (20) or both films (20,22) are removed prior to laying of the strip (10).
