Fork unit for fork lift truck

The fork unit consists of a vertical back (1) and horizontal blade (2) connected by a bend (3). It has hooks (4, 5) on the back for fixing to a fork carrier. A blade extension can be fitted to the blade. The blade extension (6) is a separate component fitting all round the blade but not fixed to it. It can be fitted on the blade and moved along it. It can be locked in at least one extended position and another position close to the back. It may consist of a rectangular-section tube with a cutout in the end facing the back.
