Stone parting tool with composite support

The tool consists of a connection carrier body (7) composed of one or more round metal blanks. Sound insulation covers the outer edge zone. Cutting elements (6) are fixed to the blanks' circumferential surfaces. There is a sealing weld seam (9) in the outer edge zone of the connection carrier body to fix the round metal blanks to each other so that the sound insulation is trapped between them. The weld seam is made without the use of an additive welding rod.
