PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing memory device for the electronic printer with configuration capable of reducing the loads of a work station and also improving the utilization efficiency of a large capacity buffer. SOLUTION: The respective buffer memories (printing memory 60 for printing data preservation) for printing data of the printing memory device 10 are constituted by providing the layer structure of a base buffer 20, a mask buffer 30 and a variable buffer 40 and controlled by a synthesis buffer 50 for synthesizing and holding the data of the respective buffers 20, 30 and 40 and sending out the held data to an engine as the printing data. Thus, plural different picture patterns are synthesized to a certain picture pattern and printed. |
