PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable and high performance superconducting coil which has high insulation resistance and by which an He evaporating quantity caused by an eddy current in continuous operation is reduced and which has a high maximum electric current value by continuously covering a superconducting wire of a cryogenic superconducting coil around which the superconducting wire is wound, with a refrigerant passage wall composed of an organic material. SOLUTION: A superconducting coil is composed of a bobbin 6, a refrigerant passage wall (a conduit) 7 composed of an organic material and a conductor 4 arranged inside it. The outside of the coil is formed of a vacuum layer 3, and the conduit 7 and both ends of the covered conductor 4 are connected to upper and lower end joining parts 8 and 9, and a supercritical He inlet 10 and an outlet 11 are also connected to the upper end joining part 8. The conductor 4 leads to an external part by the joining parts 8 and 9. Fiber reinforced plastic such as high strength polyethylene fiber is desirable as an organic material of the conduit 7. |
