RUBBER THREAD FOR GOLF BALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber thread for a golf ball which shows outstanding thread cut resistance and repulsive properties and also a low impact when the ball is hit. SOLUTION: This rubber thread for a golf ball is obtained by adding 0.02-0.25 PHR of protease and 2.5-5 PHR of rosinate to natural rubber latex to perform a protein decomposition process and vulcanizing a rubber composition containing 30-70 wt.% of proteinless natural rubber obtained by a protein removal process in the presence of 3 PHR or more of inorganic salt for the total polymer.
