PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the liquid crystal display device which has a reliable connection between terminals even at fine intervals of, for example, <=100μm. SOLUTION: The terminals 13 and 11 are connected by an anisotropic conductive film 12. Synthetic resin 16 forms a synthetic resin film of approximately 15 to 30μm in thickness, and conductive particles 14 and insulating particles 15 are dispersed in the synthetic resin 16. The conductive particles 14 are obtained by plating the surfaces of polystyrene particles of approximately 3 to 8μm in diameter with nickel and gold to a thickness of approximately 0.1μm and the insulating particles 15 are polystylene particles of approximately 3 to 8μm in diameter or particles made of phenol resin or a polystyrene butadiene polymer.
