The window (3) slides into the open position in a fixed frame (2). Before doing so, it swings at one end out from the fixed frame into an inclined position. The rear part of the window is then moved clear of frame before sliding into the open position. The window can work in two profiled components, each containing two guides with straight sections joining onto curved ones.
