PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically retrieve the failure history of each part by extracting failure history of a use part from a part failure history database and producing a use part failure history data based on it. SOLUTION: A use part data extracting means 201 reads circuit diagram data 101, calculates the number of uses of each part type name and stores it. A part attribute data extracting part 202 retrieves a part library 102 with a part type name that is extracted by the means 201 as a key, extracts attribute information that is needed for arrangements that accompany each part and stores it. When a use part type name that is extracted by the means 202 is registered on a part failure history database 103, a part failure history extracting means 203 extracts the failure history and stores it. A use part failure data producing means 204 automatically produces use part failure history data 104 based on failure history of a use part stored in the means 203. |
