PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device and an image pickup system for which the number of signal lines between an image pickup unit and an image processing unit is reduced by superimposing a power supply line for supplying power from an image processing part to the image pickup unit on the signal line to be the pair of the signal line to which the respective kinds of synchronizing signals and video signals, etc., are multiplexed. SOLUTION: A camera head part 1 for picking up the image of a subject and outputting the video signals and the image processing part are connected by a coaxial cable 94 and the video signals, the synchronizing signals of the video signals, clock signals for synchronization and transmission data further are multiplexed to the signal line 31 of the coaxial cable 94 and transmitted. Also, a power supply voltage is generated by inputting a DC voltage from the image processing part through a shield line 32 paired with the signal line 31 and a coupling capacitor 96 for interrupting DC signals is provided between the shield line and a ground line. |
