PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a tire to a wheel for a low-cost built-up wheel. SOLUTION: This built-up wheel for an automobile is provided with a special rim 2 and a special tire 4 equipped with a bead 14. The rim 2 has a circular rim flange 6 on both sides, and the rim flange forms a hollow chamber 12 with a ring opening 8 which constitutes a cross-section surface from a square to a rectangle for housing the bead 14, and the width of the opening 8 at that time is made to be such that the bead 14 of the tire 4 can be introduced into the ring hollow chamber 12 only in twisted state vertically. After the tire bead 14 is introduced into the ring hollow chamber 12, liquid material 18 which can be hardened can be filled in the remaining connecting space 16.
