PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermal transfer sheet for transferring a character or image without transfer unevenness without overheating in the sheet for transferring the character or image to a surface of other object. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet comprises a base material 2, a thermal transfer layer 3 provided on the material 2 to carry a character or image and to transfer the character or image to a surface of other member by heat, and a heat sensitive part 4 provided on a surface of the material oppositely to the side provided with the layer 3 to discolor when heat of quantity necessary to transfer the character or image to the surface of the other member. The character or image may be formed by an ink jet recording method. |
