PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position display system with which the drive time of a battery at a portable GPS mobile terminal is prolonged. SOLUTION: A GPS position measuring part 203 receives radio waves from a GPS satellite via a GPS antenna 204, the positional information of the mobile terminal such as the latitude, longitude and height is calculated and that position information of the mobile terminal is converted into prescribed data, corresponding to the data communication of mobile communication network by a data- converting part 205 and transmitted from the base station of the mobile communication network via a mobile telephone network to a center terminal connected to a public telephone network by a communication control part 207. Then, a power source control part 202 for supplying power from a battery 201 to the GPS position measuring part 203 controls power supply to the GPS position measuring part 203 which corresponds to the state of communication between the mobile terminal and base station. |
