It is disclosed an apparatus for making ornamental graphic patterns on photographic prints comprising movement means (2) for bringing to a printing station (3), a photographic-paper ribbon (4) to be exposed and a photographic film (5) successively reproducing the photograms to be transferred onto said ribbon (4); main lighting means (6) acting on the film (5) and the ribbon (4) to cause printing of the photograms on the ribbon (4); and a masking device (7), interposed between the main lighting means (6) and a print surface of the ribbon (4) intended for being exposed, for defining an ornamental frame at a border of each photographic print.
