The control is for an air-conditioning plant for a car equipped with a windscreen wiper installation. It has at least one air-conditioning component controlled according to a wiper activation signal in windscreen deposit-minimising fashion. The power of an air fan (7) or the opening relationship of a defroster-air channel (8) or the power of a compressor of the air-conditioning installation are controlled in accordance with a windscreen wiper activation signal. This signal may be provided by a rain sensor (3) or a windscreen wiper switch (2) in windscreen deposit-minimising fashion.
