The invention concerns a method for assembling mounted assemblies E, each comprising a tyre P and a wheel R, mainly consisting in: mounting said tyres P on said wheels R by means of a mounting equipment (3); correcting the position of the tyre beads by adapted means (6); balancing the resulting mounted assemblies, and storing and/or removing by means of mobile devices (81, 82) the mounted assemblies E in and/or from a storage warehouse (8). The invention is characterised in that the production and delivery of the mounted assemblies are managed by computer means, through a system of computers and dedicated robots, such that the assemblies can be synchronously delivered to at least one manufacturer using said assemblies on the motor vehicle assembly line.
