The appts. (3) to remove cops (10) and sleeves from their holding pins, on plate-shaped pallets, has a sleeve grip (30) which rotates on a vertical axis (19a) at the deflection zone of the first conveyor (2) to follow the movement path of the cops and sleeves. The grip is moved (35), from above, towards the cop or sleeve (7) and back while holding them while following the movement of the pallets (5). The transfer position to pass the gripped cop (10) and sleeve is on the remaining movement path of the grip.
