Linkage for adjacent plastics battens

A shutter blind or folding door is made up of a series of moulded, especially plastics battens (1,2), each joined to the adjacent batten by an articulated linkage (15). Each linkage consists of three ball-shaped figures (4,5,6) arranged in line and joined by a short, flexible flange (7,8). The central ball (6) fits into a semi-circular recess within each of the adjacent batten faces. The outer ball-shaped figures locate in an elongated cavity (13,14) within the battens. The short, flexible flange is fitted through a channel (12) in the semi-circular recesses.
