The hose conduit comprises a ring or screw thread-shaped corrugated metal hose and connected with a tubular connecting component. A protective hose encases the hose conduit and the connecting component on their exterior and is made of an elastic pliable material. The protective hose (3) in the area of the terminal corrugations adjacent to the connecting component has radially inwardly directed formations (4,5,6), which engage in the corrugation valleys (7,8,9) of the corrugations of the metal hose (1). The radial dimension of the formations (4,5,6) decreases increasingly from the hose conduit end. The protective hose (3) for accommodation of tractive and/or pressure forces is provided with an integrated formation of metal wires or with pressure support layers (31,32) such as metal, textile materials, aramid or similar materials.
