The valve lifters are born on a continuous shaft via hub bodies. The shaft (13) has a circular profile with a flat section (20). The hub bodies (12) have an opening on the side away from the operational contact force. The residual circumferential bearing angle of the hub bodies, and the residual circumferential angle of the shaft cross section are larger than 180 degrees . The shaft is turnable and lockable in its bearing. The shaft has one or more axis-parallel bores (17), and channels (18) branching radially off the bores to the hub bodies, for the supply of oil.
