PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a liquid discharging device by utilizing increase/decrease of flow to a return passage. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a storage part 2 in which liquid is stored, a pump 4, a pump driving power 7 to drive it, a suction passage of which one end is positioned inside liquid in the storage part 2, a discharge passage 8 of which one end is positioned to face the storage part 2, an outer discharge passage 5 branched from a middle part of it, and a liquid discharge part 6 provided on a tip of it and having an opening means, a passage in the discharge passage 8 from the branch part of the outer discharge passage 5 to the storage part 2 is a return passage 81, the pump 4 is driven by the pump driving power 7 to open the opening means, so liquid is discharged from the liquid discharge part 6 through the outer discharge passage 5, and the pump driving power 7 is stopped when flow to the return passage 81 becomes smaller than V-V2 , where liquid discharge quantity in normal operation is V1 -V2 . |
