PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an additive for a hydraulic composition, excellent in fluidity and separation resistance, capable of imparting good self filling properties and excellent in development of initial strength. SOLUTION: This additive for a hydraulic composition contains a high- performance water reducing agent, polysaccharides or a polysaccharide derivative in which hydrogen atoms of hydroxyl groups in a part or all of the alkylated or a hydroxyalkylated derivative thereof are substituted with a hydrophobic substituent group (A) having an 8-40C hydrocarbon chain as a partial structure and an ionic hydrophilic substituent group (B) containing one or more groups selected from the group consisting of sulfonate group, carboxyl group, phosphate group and sulfuric ester group and a salt thereof as a partial structure. |
