PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work changing device for a machine tool capable of eliminating the need for an escape window for avoiding interference between a splash protecting plate and a supporting member and improving splash protecting function. SOLUTION: This work changing device changes a machined work W1 mounted at the A-side part in a machining area of a machining table 10 for a not-machined work W2 mounted at the B-side part in a standby area by turning the machining table 10 around a turning axis C. In this case, a splash protecting plate 20 to partition a space above the machining table 10 into an A-side space in the machining area and a B-side space in the standby area is arranged on the upper face of the machining table 10 to be oscillatable around an oscillation axis D perpendicular to the turning axis C, and a supporting member 25 is provided to support the splash protecting plate 20 inclined to the B-side in the standby area, so that the A-side space in the machining area becomes larger than the B-side space in the standby area, and arranged to be inclined at almost the same angle as the inclinationθof the splash protecting plate 20. The upper side 20b of the splash protecting plate 20 is supported by the supporting member 25 to be relatively moved with the turning of the machining table 10.
