PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator by which connection with an input/output means or an external circuit, etc., is easily executed, a filter provided with a wide range of frequency characteristic, a shared equipment and a communication equipment device. SOLUTION: Electrodes 2a and 2b provided with polygonal opening parts 2c and 2d are formed on both main surfaces of a dielectric substrate 2 so as to permit both opening parts 2c and 2d to face each other, the dielectric substrate 2 is arranged with a spacer 7 between a metallic upper conductor case 3 and a lower conductor case 4 where a shield conductor 6 is formed, which are mutually opposed at an interval from the dielectric substrate 2, and the interval between the opposing opening parts 2c and 2d of the dielectric substrate 2 is adopted as a resonance area so as to be coupled to input/output electrodes 5a and 5b.
