PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device of a color copying machine which neutralizes a positive electric charge injected to a photoreceptive drum by peeling and discharging without causing an image irregularity and whose cost is low. SOLUTION: Relating to a digital full color copying machine, a negative electric charge is impressed to the paper rear end contact part of the photoreceptive drum 206 by a cleaner precharger 233 so as to compensate the injection of the positive electric charge to the photoreceptive drum 206 by the peeling and discharging. Then, the history of the potential of the paper rear end contact part is measured by using a built-in surface potential meter 230, and copying operation is stopped once when a potential difference exceeds a fixed value, and C/D repeating processing is performed, so that potential unevenness or the image irregularity caused by the injection of the negative electric charge is removed (a potential is uniformized) and the copying operation is started again. |
