PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a room temperature vulcanizable silicone rubber composition having especially non-sagging properties continuously at good efficiency. SOLUTION: A crosslinkable organopolysiloxane oil is mixed with an inorganic filler to produce a silicone rubber compound having flowability. Next, this compound is fed into a tank provided with a vacuum discharge pump on the bottom and being in a state of diminished pressure, continuously deaerated and mixed with a thixotropy controlling agent. The compound is mixed with a crosslinking agent and degassed.
