PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a diagnosis to a high degree by scanning a subject by an ultrasonic wave, and constituting so as to display a spatial change in a picture element value on a two-dimensional area set within a cross section in an optional position as a three-dimensional profile when an ultrasonic image is prepared on the basis of an obtained echo signal. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave of a prescribed transmission rate is transmitted to an ultrasonic probe 1 from an echo transmitting unit 2, and an echo signal is received by an echo receiving unit 3. A received signal is processed by a B mode unit 4 and a color Doppler unit 5, and an obtained signal is outputted to a monitor 62 through a DSC circuit 61. An ultrasonic image signal is also supplied to a profile unit 7, and while ultrasonic scanning is performed, the ultrasonic image signal is repeatedly written in and erased by a image recording memory 71, and when an operator operates a console 73 by judging that an image in the monitor 62 is important, its image is displayed on the monitor 62 as a three-dimensional profile preparing object. |
