PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which can exhibit frostedglass-like effect unlike conventional thermoplastic polyester resins which, though very popularly used for food containers, drug containers, cosmetic containers, etc., are transparent and are therefore deficient in aesthetic values. SOLUTION: This composition is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester resin with 0.05-5.0 pts.wt. fine spherical polymethyl methacrylate powder having a mean particle diameter of 0.1-20μm and/or fine calcium carbonate powder having a mean particle diameter of 0.5-10μm and 0.01-3.0 pts.wt. ethylene ethyl acrylate. |
