DIAGNOSTIC KIT FOR DIAGNOSING AND DISTINGUISHING CHEST PAIN IN EARLY ONSET THEREOF

A kit is disclosed for rapidly diagnosing the cause of chest pain of a patient i n the early onset thereof. The test kit comprises a receptacle for receiving and retai ning a sample of blood or serum of the patient and at least three monoclonal or polyclo nal antibodies suspended on a carrier. Each antibody is complementary to a different protein released by the heart muscle during early stages of a myocardial infarction and has corresponding reagents which are independently responsive to each antibody react ing the complementary protein. The combined response of reagents indicates the diagnosti c condition of the patient.
