发明名称 Procédé de fabrication en continu de cartons d'emballage collés et mis à plat et machine pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé
摘要 958,211. Forming cartons. BOXFOLDIA Ltd. June 7, 1960 [June 13, 1959], No. 20297/59. Heading B5D. [Also in Division B8]. A machine for forming collapsed cartons from the blanks shown in Figs. 1, 2 and 3 and which are secured by adhesive comprises a pair of endless belts 33 for continuously advancing a succession of initially flat blanks along guide bars 35, fingers 38 which press down the laterally extending flaps and sides of each blank to ensure that a pair of divider elements 37 raise either the sides B and depress flaps F, G or raise the flaps and depress the sides depending on whether the flaps are secured to the inside or outside of the sides, wheels 45 or short belts which apply glue to the blanks, and means for folding over and pressing together the flaps and sides in the position shown at the left hand side of Figs. 1-3. The folding means for the blank shown in Fig. 1 comprises converging ends of the elements 37, bars 47 which engage the partially folded over flaps as they leave the elements 37 and complete the folding of the flaps as the blank continues to advance. The ends of bars 47 are extended as strips which retain the flaps while belts 49 fold over the sides on to the flaps, the belt being pressed down by roller 50 to ensure adhesion between the flaps and the side. The flat, folded blanks subsequently pass to a stacking mechanism. For folding the blank shown in Fig. 2, the machine is modified so that the fingers 38 press the sides B upwardly thereby ensuring that the sides engage the top surface of the elements 37 and the flaps F, G pass beneath the elements, and the subsequent folding means comprises bars 52 which fold up the sides and corner flap folding bars 53, the bar 47 being dispensed with. The machine is further modified for folding the blank shown in Fig. 3, see Fig. 16. The elements 37 have parallel edges 39 and tapered strips of timber 55 are secured to the underside of each element. A deflector finger 54 at each side of the machine ensures that portions F, G engage the upper surface of elements 37 and that portions F1, G1, and C are deflected beneath the elements. A holding down bar 47 retains the centre of the blank while endless belts fold the blank about lines E, H, and I. In the first and third forms of the machine the ends of elements 37 first engaged by the blanks' are bent down from the horizontal; in the second form the undersides of the members 37 are horizontal. The numerous parts of the machine are adjustable to accommodate blanks of different size.
