Production of fibres and powder from recycled plastic. Plastic pieces (P) are shredded or broken down e.g. in a twin-screw extruder (2) and ground (5). The material leaving this point in fibrous form can be directed to a micronising mill (13) or a separating cyclone (12),according to the type of product being manufactured. Also claimed is the corresponding plant making recycled fibres and powder. The leading plant equipment (2, 5, 9) is connected in series. A sorter (10) downstream of the separator, feeds either the cyclone (12) recovering fibres, or the microniser (13) with its exit connected to the recovery filter (14) for powdered plastic. |
