<p>A prophylactic or therapeutic agent for diseases attributable to infection with helicobacters, characterized by containing (S)-1-cyclopropyl -1,4-dihydro-7- [2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl) morpholino]-6-fluoro-8- methoxy-4-oxoquinoline -3-carboxylic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The agent is efficaceous as a single active ingredient preparation at a low dose in administration for a short period of time, is substantially free from unfavorable side effects such as tolerance and diarrhea, has low toxicity, can safely and surely remove bacteria, and is useful for prevention and treatment of diseases attributable to infection with helicobacters, such as gastritis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, malignant lymphona, and stomach cancer.</p> |
