A fuel injection system for IC engines has a high pressure pump (1) supplying a first and second pressure store (16,71) with fuel. The first store is connected through a valve (22) to the second store, connected through pressure lines (7) to each electrically controlled injection valve (8). At the injection instant, the valve removes stored fuel brought to the injection pressure from the first store and brings it for injection at the engine. The pump is connected to the first store and the valve between the first and second store is a valve controlled from the pressure in the first store. |
