Disclosed is the use of the extracellular portion of the membrane-bound domain of the ELEMENT chain (from IgE) designated migis- epsilon peptides, or fragments or derivatives thereof, conjugated with antigen(s), for use in desensitization to such conjugated antigen(s). Two different isoforms of the migis- epsilon peptide are disclosed. These conjugates are administered to suppress IgE specific for the antigen of the conjugate, and therefore, suppress the allergic response to that antigen. |
