The invention refers to a piece of equipment for modelling the distribution of gas bubbles and currents which occur as a result of circulation in a metal bath of cast iron, steel or other metals or metal alloys which, in order to allow for a modelling which is as close as possible to actual physical processes in the technological procedure uses anhydrous glycerin for modelling the liquid metal, and carbon dioxide for modelling modifier vapour or oxygen bubbles in the technological procedures. The equipment consists of a transparent glass vessel (1) mounted on a base plate (2) with an injection sleeve (3) in which a nozzle (5) is screwed; at the top of vessel (1) a rod (9) being mounted with a supporting device (6), which can glide horizontally and can rotate; on the rod's end a bar (12) being mounted through a supporting body (10), the bar can support a plug, a pin or an obstacle typical of the technological procedure for the study of which various modelling methods are introduced.
