FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engine fuel system. SUBSTANCE: nozzle spray tip has hollow body 1 with conical seat 3 changing into well 3. Body 1 houses needle 4 provided with shutoff cone 5 and throttling cone 6 separated by ring groove 7. Additional cone 8 made on needle 4 coaxially with its axis forms throttling edge 9 at intersection with throttling cone 6. Throttling edge 9 is located on needle 4 between line 10 of transfer of conical seat 2 into well 3 and ring groove 7. Shutoff cone 5, as compared with throttling cone 6, is more hard and wear resistant. Throttling cone can be made sectional, consisting of inner cone 6' and outer member 11 in form of layer of more soft metal as compared with shutoff cone 5, for instance, copper.
