Assembly for binding magazines

The assembly to produce bound copies of magazines and the like, from collated folded sections, has a system of carrier beams (20) on a recirculating path to carry the pages. An adjacent system of recirculating clamping beams (66,76,83) is at the open edges of the pages. The pages are moved sideways for transfer between the carrier and the clamping beams. A static cutter is near the clamping beam system, with the blades acting together with counter blades at the clamping beams (66,76,83).
