<p>The truck comprises a self-propelled wheeled chassis with a cab (4) containing controls (5) and an engine (6). The engine is protected by a hinged top cover (7) which supports the operator's seat (8). When the engine cover is raised to give access to the engine the operator's seat projects through a rear opening in the cab which is normally covered by a hinged glazed panel (10). When the panel (10) is opened, with the aid of pneumatic cylinders (12), it passes mainly inside the top of the cab, leaving the aperture free to accommodate the seat.</p> |
