Hydraulic unit with safety connection arrangement

The hydraulic unit has two or more couplings (4,5) connected by a sole plate (3) with a cavity for a mechanical axle (6). The axle is situated between the two couplings and engages with grooves (7,8) in their outer surfaces. The sole plate (3) interacts with a projection (10) on the hydraulic unit housing (12) and contains a spring-loaded ball lock to engage with one of the coupling grooves, while asymmetrically shaped surfaces on the sole plate and housing prevent the coupling assembly from being fitted the wrong way round.
