This invention relates to a compound, which is used to removing harmful components from cigarette smoking, and a method for preparing the compound, in said compound: (1) 0.5-8.0 % (by weight) of the compound selected from a group consisting of soluble Pd salts, Pt acid or salts, or the mixture thereof; (2) 0.05-2.0 % (by weight) of the compound selected from a group consisting of phosphatic acid or soluble phosphates, molybdic acid or soluble molybdates, phosphato-molybdic acid or phosphato-molybdates, phosphato-tungstic acid or phosphate-tungstates, or the mixture thereof; (3) 0.5-8.0 % (by weight) of the compound selected from a group consisting of soluble salts of Cu, Ni, and Fe, or the mixture thereof; and (4) 85.0-98 % (by weight) of the compound being porous support material. |
