摘要 A description is given of a device for measuring forces acting in railway rails or similar loaded beams by using extension sensors from the output signal of which an evaluation unit calculates the forces acting in the vertical direction. One embodiment of this device is distinguished by having introduced into the rail a blind bore on the floor of which the extension sensor or sensors are mounted. In another embodiment, the device has a sleeve made from an elastically deformable material, which can be inserted into a cutout in the rail and whose external dimensions are smaller than those of the recess. In order to introduce force from the rail onto the sleeve, provision is made of at least one displaceable prism- or wedge-shaped element which produces a bearing surface in the region of the vertical neutral phase between the rail and sleeve. At least one extension sensor is inserted into the sleeve in such a way that it detects the deformation of diametrically opposite regions of the sleeve which bear against the rail in a linear fashion. In each case, the outlay required is substantially reduced in the case of the device according to the invention by contrast with known devices. For example, the number of extension sensors required is halved, since the extensions are measured directly in the vertical neutral fibre.
