A tab marking system

The tab marking system employs a first ply of paper having discrete tabs (15) removably mounted therein and a second ply of paper under the first ply of paper to cover the discrete tabs. Each tab is provided with a self-adhesive repositionable glue (17). Upon removal of a tab from the first ply of paper, the tab (15) can be adhered to a page of a catalogue to flag the page. A barrier coating may also be placed on the second ply of paper in facing relation to the glue of the tabs (15) to prevent adhesion of the tab (15) to the second ply of paper. <IMAGE>
